Originally built in 1904 for local businessman and North Carolina General Assembly member David Buck and his wife Pearl, the home was sold in the 1960s, restored in the 2000s and opened in 2007 to serve as an inn. After closing for a short time, Sam and Debbie Stebbins purchased and reopened the property in 2012, transforming the Buck House Inn into an award-winning B&B. Featuring five guest rooms plus a third-floor owners’ suite, the home boasts authentic attention to detail.
